How It works Ointment vs Balm vs Roll-On

How do I apply It? Super easy, 6-8 inches apart: back of neck, shoulders if in short sleeves or tank top, inside elbow, wrist, mid section if exposed and at your the bottom of your shorts line, behind the knees and around the ankles. Top of feet if barefoot or in sandals.

How does it Smell?  Amazing! We actually have people who purchase Mosquito Bee Gone and Bug Bite Relief when they purchase our beauty products: Lotions, Whipped Body Butters, Sugar Scrubs, and Balms.

***Bug Bite Relief works great on Poison Ivy and Poison Oak, Chicken Pox... these are also contagious and ONLY THE OINTMENT should be applied using a que tip, cotton pad/ball once and a new one for each new application to keep from spreading. Consult a physician before use and/or if no relief and/or reaction occurs. ***

Which one of Mosquito Bee Gone repellent and Bug Bite Relief do I need?

Ointment: Let's start with our Ointments. Both Mosquito Bee Gone repellent and Bug Bite Relief Ointments have been tested by real people in real environments giving us feedback on how they work. We intended for our ointments to be water resistant. What we found through testing is it has shown to be Water proof up to 8 hours and with some as long as 12 hours. We recommend re-apply after 4-6 hours to see how well it works for your activities. 

Balm: We tested our Mosquito Bee Gone repellent on over 100 people who play Pickleball at dusk 7 nights a week. We found that it repels, not just Mosquitoes, but also knats, flies and bugs attracted to sweat. Due to the type, and quality of vegan, plant based wax, sweat rolls over the applied area giving coverage for up to 3 hours of protection.

Roll-On: Great for 1-2 hours of Outside events: Weddings, Dining, BBQ's, by the pool, spectator events like kids soccer, baseball, tennis, and more. The Roll-On is the perfect size for your purse, pocket, backpack and clutch. 

***We have tested our products on children as young as 5 weeks old. PLEASE TEST ON A small area behind the shoulders blades for a negative reaction on children, as they can not typically reach this area of their bodies. If a reaction occurs, wash with mild soap and water. DO NOT APPLY ANY FURTHER.

Do You Make a Spray? NO we do not and we never will.

Why Not? All sprays have alcohol of some sort combined with ingredients not meant to be inhaled into your mucus glands, lungs, mouth, nose and eyes.

Sprays are not like direct application ointments, balms and roll-ons. Sprays are uncontrollable once released. Sprays land on your clothes, animals, grass, furniture, fly away in the wind causing damage to our precious eco system further damaging our bug and insect populations.

It's our job as manufacturers to do our very best to protect our environment to our greatest abilities. Responsible applications of even All-Natural products is extremely important. 

For example, Bees land on areas where sprays have missed their target, and the bees carry this toxin to their hives, flowers and plants. As pollinators, Bees need us to protect them against Spayed toxins. We need to do our part to let them do theirs.

Does Mosquito Bee Gone repellent and Bug Bite Relief really work?

Why, yes it REALLY does!! But how you ask? We are very transparent on our labelling and website of all our ingredients. Yes, you can get ahold of all the ingredients and try to replicate our formulas. Our formulas are more than their ingredients. 

We go to great lengths to insure all our raw materials are Ethically Sourced, NON-GMO, 100% All-Natural, Vegan, Paraben Free, Cruelty Free and Organic. 

We do our very best to research our distributors for Ethically Sourced products. Finding raw materials from their natural environment makes a huge difference on how effective they work. Raw materials sourced from around the globe brings questions of how they are harvested.

Ethical sourcing is about insuring child and slave labor is not used in the harvesting, processing and shipping of these ingredients. Being able to use distributors who know the local farmers in the nations known for the raw materials we use, is very important. 

Many of these small farmers can not afford to hire American companies to come to their countries to authenticate they are NON-GMO and Organic. The cost is one years salary of harvesting. Therefore, we rely on our many distributors to know their farmers. Many of our distributors have either themselves gone to meet these farmers or have sent staff to visit these farms. 

Many of our distributors purchase whole plants, shipping back to the USA to process through steam distilling or cold pressing for an all-natural refined finished product. This is the difference from raw ingredients purchased through popular outlets.

With our distributors knowing the farmers we can rely on all products being Cruelty Free, Paraben Free and Vegan. We do not use a Bee's wax for our formulations. We use a plant wax instead. 

Knowing these intricate details takes hours and hours of time and research. We have had the great fortune of getting to know some of distributors well through sharing the same values, ethics and beliefs in caring for our environment and most of all, taken great care on what we put on our skin.

It has taken years to curate these relationships. We rely on their honesty in our partnerships. This is why our products really work. It's not what you use, its where it comes from, how it's grown and cared for, harvested and then processed.
